Dr. Mehran Javid was born in the Middle East, coming to California to finish his undergraduates, where he then moved to Boston to attend Tufts School of Dental Medicine where he earned his D.M.D in 1994. Dr. Javid has recieved an award from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in the area of Fix Prosthodontics and Removeable Prosthodontics. Dr. Javid built his practice in it's present location on South County Trail in East Greenwich where he has remained since 1999. He is knoweledgeable in in the most advanced dental technologies including CEREC, Digital X-Rays, Intra Oral Cameras, Rotary Endodontics, Electric Handpieces, and restoration of dental implants.

Dr. Javid is enthusiastic about continuing education and he values keeping current with the lastest technologies and materials to provide state-of-the-art treatment options to his patients. He strives to provide patient centered care to achieve healthy, aesthetic, functional and sustainable oral care. He prioritizes his expertise, but not limited to, restorative, cosmetic, sleep and implant dentistry.

Dr. Javid is a preffered provider for many dental insurance plans including BC BS RI, BC BS MA, Metlife, Cigna, Aetna and United Concordia.

Besides Dr. Javid's dental practice and keeping active involvemnt in his community, he enjoys traveling with his wife Martinha Javid and his three daughters, as well as dabbling in his hobbies which include raquetball, cycling and spending time with his four grandchildren. He also enjoys a healthy competitive game of chess and backgammon.
